Default It also works with sparklers!!

If you're legally allowed to play with fireworks, it works with those, too.

Here's a picture I did for a cousin over the summer. I look like a cow in the picture because I apparently turned while writing it. This was done on an 8 sec shutter speed, that was before I got the camera with the unlimited speed. Her sister challenged me to do their 12 letter last name so I did that one with a break-it-and-shake-it-to-make-it-light-up glowstick against a plain wall, she thought it was the coolest thing ever.

We also got to play with a lightsaber (yes, you read that right) during a hurricane when the entire city was blacked out. The neighbors thought we were crazy but we were bored.

Just thought I'd pass these over for some more ideas.

I just found this site a few days ago so I don't know how to make the pictures bigger, sorry about that.

Default Painting with light

This is similar in that I used a flash light, but I painted the underside of the palm tree with the light. Set the camera on its back on the ground. Set a long exposure and painted the under side of the palms.

Tahiti night sky.
