Hi thx for the info on how to do these.
I did this with my phone as the light source.Took me about 40 atempts to write my name god knows how you people write so clearly in the air."never mind capture the image"
Not sure on f stop but shutter was 13 seconds.

Here is my try at this... I am new to all this and have a point and shoot... Canon Powershot SX100IS..... anyway, I didn't think I could pull something like this off. But, it worked! Not as well as some on here, but I am proud

How many tries did it take you to get that written correctly? I know whenever I lightpaint, I fail several times.

I know for me it took about 15times on my name, I couldn't get the K... I actually managed the word family in one, I think that was pure luck!

i tried this few months back with almost the same setting but used a thin led light. here is the result!
