Thanks for sharing how to do this! I've been wanting to try for a while, and finally had the chance. This is pretty much the original other than changing out the "marshmallow" for a better looking one, cropping, and minimal adjustments. Thanks!

Default light painting

wow, I love the light props--marshmallow, arrow, laser eyes...

here's a picture taken last week. I set my camera on Aperture mode, focused on 2 bright blue lights from a restaurant across the street, and then moved the whole camera in a heart shape to 'paint'. I think I'll try the fixed camera and moving light for names, though!

This is simply something extraordinary, and btw you have good "air writing"

I have tried this stuff on walls but with a laser light, wonder what the effect using a flash light would be.
And i aint so good at "air writing".

hehehe
