I was in Long Beach, CA the other night and had my camera with me. I picked up my wife from work at nite (nurse) and while waiting I shot a few shots of the moon. We then went to eat in Long Beach and worked my magic to convince the wife to letting me take a few shots of Parkers Lighthouse/Queen Mary. I didn't have a tripod but there are a few benches that do the trick. Tried very hard to do a pano.
I took multiple shots to try and get the exposure down as it was dark and the lights from the restaurant gave conflicting exposure readings. I used photoshop to try and get some good color and contrast and add the moon from earlier in the night. As well as manually put the pano together. ![]() Bigger View Please let me know what you guys think. Good or Bad. The only way I could improve ![]() Thanks

The picture of the moon, that you have on your Flickr page is great. It's really clear and sharp. And the actual shot of of Parker's Lighthouse and The Queen Mary looks really nice, too.
But, sorry to say, the two together just seems a little off. Almost like the moon is too big and bright. But that might just be me.

I agree that the moon seems slightly out of proportion, but I think it gives the shot a unique, unrealistic look (I mean that in a good way!). Overall I like it! Great shot!
