dabbled a little in this last week but had alot of trouble with the lighting issue. came out to 'artificial'..like the idea of using real light. gives it a very warm tone to it. and the patterned bowl makes a creative background. Love it.. thanks for the wonderful tututorial.will definately try this soon

Any advice on how to get sharp focus all around on this shot? I had a hard time, but had to try this.

Without the Exif data I can't say for sure, but this this looks like a shutter speed problem. Try kicking it up, I think I used 1/400th of a second, or something like that.
