Default Moon and Mars...

This is a couple different exposures and combined in photoshop. Mars is near the top center.

Moon. 1/4000 sec. ISO 100.
Mars. 2.5 sec. ISO 100.
75-300mm lens.

Ive thought of doing something similar with that photostich software thats out there, but... this is neat!

Is the exif info on the moon shot accurate? 1/4000s @ ISO100???

It was 1/4000th yes but the moon was a bit dark on the photo, i had to brighten it a bit to get it where it is now...

Mars is quite a distance from the moon now. You can see it. It looks like a really bright star...

damn, i never thought mars is the red dot i see every night when i look to the mountains next to home, tonight i used my 300mm lense and live view in my laptop and saw it moving, pretty nice, thanks for this pic!
