Default I have a photo blog

I started a general blog a while back and used to put photos there. But then I found out at that I had regular readers of my blog that were only there for a certain topic. I split my blog into 3 different blogs, a general blog about life, a photo blog and blog about my other hobby (poker).

I've taken a differnt approach to my photoblog then I've seen in other people's blogs. I like to write about the process I went through to get the pictures. Sometimes I explain the technical aspects but sometimes I talk about the personal stuff. Sometimes, I'm just looking for advice and sometimes I write about what worked.

Check them it out and let me know if works!

Whooops here I go voting before I read exact definitions again. I would refer to my "flickr" account as being a photo blog as it's sorted by date and has the occasional comment by me but it's not a "blog" as such????

Default My Photoblog

Hi everyone

I've been meaning to get involved on this forum for some time but never get around to it, so here's my first post.

I've been getting more and more into photoblogging and this may be a little overkill but I have my PhotoShumi blog (for my comments, thoughts), a flickr account (networking) and a fotologue gallery (beautiful UI for viewing photos).

I think having a photoblog makes you think about your photos from a different perspective, especially if you critique them.

cheers,
Dan

I just launched mine this week after finally settling on pixelpost as my photoblog software. My goal with this site is to simply let the photos speak for themselves rather than rattling on about things. For that I chose a simple clean theme..I hope it 'works'! I don't have much posted there yet, but it'll grow (including the back catalogue) now that the site design is near complete.

Thoughts, comments are most welcome.

I've turned mine into a temporary photo sharing blog, because I usually save up the important material for one big post. I'm not traveling or doing anything exciting, so I just post pictures and a small bit of info.

Wow...it's 50/50 at the moment!

I don't have one, I've often thought of having one but I just put the photos on a MSN group when I'm proud of them. They go via a photobucket account to get there, so that's practically my storage place for the decent ones.
