Default Lightroom import pictures question!

I used this tool extremely happy until I purchased a new external hard drive. After I changed the location of my pictures Lightroom does not want to show all of them anymore. The pictures are there but Lightroom shows me 2 or 1 or 6 pictures I don’t know based on what criteria. Please advice!
Thank you,

Fost Golan

Did you re-import them or just navigate to the drive in LR?
The 2 or 1 or 6... is compared to what you used to see before you moved the folders to the ext drive??...not that sometimes you open the folder and see 2 then the following time you open the folder you see 6...

Did you move your photos over to the new hard drive using Lightroom or did you do it by hand and then tell it where the photos were? And also, which version of LR are you using (just in case it's a bug or someone thinks of something else that could be happening).

In the right hand corner of the picture in 'grid view' there should be a question mark on it. This mean that the picture is missing. Click on the question mark and locate that picture on your external hard drive by filename. Now, Lightroom knows where this picture is. Then it will find all associated pictures in that same file. If they are in different file then you will have to point each picture out.

Yes I re-import them and still shows me one folder of 200 pics with only one. Another folder with 250 pics with 1 as well and another one with 300 pics only 6 pictures. Some folders (the last one) shows me that is empy. I tryed to reimport them but is telling me that the pictures are already there. I click show them in library and I can see them but each picture has a label "picture missing ore removed" something like that.
Thank you!

and you can grab these as podcasts to watch on your itouch/iphone type device...

Thank you very much!
Very helpful link. I solved the problem using the question mark in the right corner (In the right hand corner of the picture in 'grid view' there should be a question mark on it. This mean that the picture is missing. Click on the question mark and locate that picture on your external hard drive by filename. Now, Lightroom knows where this picture is. Thank you,
