Has anyone in these forums ever taken the weekend version of Rocky Mountain School of Photography? They are coming to my location in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has gotten anything worthy out of this seminar. Looking at their website it definitely looks like it could be fun.

You'll get your money's worth at these type of seminars. What's good is that they are open to all skills and levels of photographers, so you'll also be learning from others besides the instructors.

Bone up on your note taking ability. I took one of the weekend courses, and my wife and I covered 10 sessions (5 each over 2 days) so we could get the most out of the weekend. They give you a pad of paper and a pen, so you don't have to bring your own. I also got a gift card to Blurb.com to make a book, and we used it to make our wedding guest book.
