Default What To Do????

I'm going to London in 2 weeks time, I'm going to hire a lens as I only have the 18-55mm kit lens for my D5000.

I really want to buy a 18-200mm lens so will be hiring that and will be my all purpose lens for the weekend, what I don't know and I'm wondering if its worth while hiring the sigma 50mm f1.4 lens too??

What would you all do??

If you think that you will be out and about in low light situations then you should get a f/1.4 as well. You may very well never take it off your camera as you will see that the image quality from a prime lens will be a lot better than a kit lens or a general purpose zoom.

If you'll be doing any indoor shots where you can't use a flash(Museum), you'll need the 50mm for sure. It's a small lens & easily will fit into a loose pocket also.
