Hi phcret. I am new to photography (relatively). I have just bought a book on composition and am trying to compose better images. I find some of the concepts technical, and I feel that if I were to get hung up on these it might take the fun out of photography. If you could compile something that made new photogs better whilst making it fun, that may be popular. Good luck in your pursuits and God bless. PAUL

Welcome to DPS.
I am a bit of a geek myself. I enjoy long dissertations myself. I know I am probably in the minority. I also enjoy the shorter stuff but I prefer to dive into a subject. I can't think of any subjects right off the top of my head. THere are a lot of knowledgeable people here. A Lot of the subjects are covered but new opinions are welcome by me. I love this place and have learned a great deal about photography from many people here. Again, welcome and I can't wait to read your insights from your years of experience. |

I do a lot of speed photography, which is photographing stuff that happens too fast for the human eye to percieve it. Stuff like shooting a pellet gun through jello:

I would like to see more articles on 3D photography and viewing techniques. Even the Moon Landings were in 3D!
