Hello.
I'm Jacob Glessing, I have been reading quite a bit on ShutterPoint, and have been directed here to learn more. I have a Fujifilm S8100FD, and I would like to put it to use. I don't know a whole lot about the manual settings, but I have been told to have the highest quality setting, and the lowest ISO setting. Any advice on what I should know, and where I should start for the learning process of my camera, and digital photography would be great. Thank you. Jacob. |

Not to sound like a smartbutt.......but your camera manual is the best tool you have
That and also experimenting with the camera ![]() TriggerPhotography.com would be a good start as well

Glesjw,
Your manual will tell you how to work all the settings on your camera, but it seems to me that you're asking what all the settings are, how they affect one another, and what they do to a picture. For that, I suggest you start here. It's got tons of information and it's quite easy to understand (Darren is a fantastic writer). Hope that helps. ~ Shravan
