Default Satellite image of Britain covered in snow
Wasn't sure where to post this, I just thought I'd share this satellite image of the whole of the UK under a blanket of snow last week. This probably only happens once or twice in a hundred years, it's quite an amazing image really.

nice......i wonder how they would react to having 5 snow storms an avg. 11 inches a storm ..... lol thats how much we've had this year and thats our avg a year here

I've seen the picture... and I've seen the blanket from the other side as well! It has been a a significantly more widespread season of heavy snow than has been experienced in the UK for a long time. Mind you, when I were a lad, I think we just used to call this kind of weather winter....
