Default flickr link

Good day All,

Apologies in advance for a stupid question.......

I'm trying to link my flickr photostream into my signature on DPS. I know how to insert the link, but do not know how to rename the link from http://blahblahblah to something like "My flicker" in the signature block.

Thanks in advance for what I know will certainly be the answers I need (always obtained on DPS!).

That's what the "insert link" button is for. Click "insert link" (on the row with the Bold, Italic and Underline) buttons. Then, insert the URL to your profile (Flickr: dockmaster's Photostream) in the little box that pops up. Then hit "ok" and in the highlighted text, you simply put what you want to appear, i.e. Flickr or My Flickr.

First you need to type whatever you want it to say, 'MyFlickr' for example. Then highlight that and click the hyperlink button above the text box . Then paste the link and you're done!

Joe,
I do that but the link does not work, what am I missing?
I go to the address on my photostream and rename it in the explorer link at the top, then copy and paste the renamed link into the "add link" function on DPS. It appears correctly in the signature but the link doesn't work (errors out).
Thanks
Scott

That's the problem, you shouldn't rename it in the explorer bar, that will corrupt the link. Just copy what's there (the address), forget about it for now then write 'Flickr' in your signature text box. Highlight 'Flickr' then click the insert link button
Paste the link of your flickr into the link box where it says 'http://' and click OK, then it should be done.

When you do look at the link you have created in your sigature, the key to your issue is what is written between the and the section.
The text that is where the "and the" above is will be the text that will appear in your signature. Go ahead and change it as needed.
