Default 365project - going on holiday

I'm doing really well posting a photo every day but my question is what to do on holiday. We are going camping for a week this summer and it goes without saying there is no internet. Would it be ok to post pics when I come back or is that cheating? I was thinking of doing a photographic diary.

Thanks!

The rules are basically up to you. The way I'm doing my own 365, it would be perfectly fine to take photos each day, and post them later.

Here's a question: why are you doing a 365 project? Is the purpose to take a photo each day, or to post a photo each day? If it's to take a photo (as it is in my case), then there you go.

I think for most people, the essence of a 365 project is the taking of a picture a day, not so much the posting. I wouldn't think it was cheating if you posted when you could. Have fun on holiday!

I agree with David. It's pretty much impossible for me to guarantee I'll post a picture every day, simply because, as was the case in the last few days, I was on a plane for somewhere around 18h and crossing time zones and date lines (it took a little creativity to make sure that I had a shot for the 11th since I pretty much skip being in one day when I'm traveling from Chicago to NZ). So, I say, take the pictures every day and post them when you get back.

It may be a copout, but what I did was post on the last post before my short break that pictures would be back regularly after a certain date.

I'm doing a 365 and I'm not posting any of my images ( beginner and don't really want some of the seen), the goal is to take them. I think if you take one a day and post them later that's fine.

I agree. I don't think it's cheating to post once you get back.

I did Project 365 last year and the only times I didn't post a photo that exact day was when I was sick or during the few days we were moving and I was too busy to post (or not post because I didn't have internet) I try to upload as soon as I take and edit my photo, but if I can't, it's no biggie. As long as it's there representing that day at the end of the year, all is good.
