Watermarks

What kind of watermark do you find to be best? One thats barely seen? One thats right there in your face or just a little logo in the corner?

Also how do you decide where to put it?


Im trying to still find what works best for me and Im looking for ideas. Right now I have this. Is it too much?

How do I put a watermark on a photo? I am new to all this. Is there an option in Photshop Elements to do this? Thanks, Kim

I use PhotoScape to enhance and add the watermark. You can also do it with the text tool on Picnik.com.

Hi Shanny, I think it is a bit too much at the moment, it distracts from the image in my opinion.

I am sure there are a lot of different opinions on this matter so I guess you can just look at all the different styles and make up your own mind on how they affect the image.

Thanks thats what I was thinking too. I wanted to make an emblem or something simple that can go in the corner but Im not that good with the photoshop just yet.

That baby is my niece. Shes my favorite subject <3

I try to put on a good sized watermark that is not easily removable. But, I also make sure the opacity is quite low (20-30%) as to not distract too much from the photo.
