I would take them all in my backpack. It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

No, I disagree with taking many of them, ideally you would have just one lens, you might carry one extra with you, in case you want to take some photos before you take off and once in the air with different techniques. You don't want to carry around a bunch of extra weight. And do you really want to be switching lenses in a hot air balloon???
I wouldn't. The real question is, what kinds of photos do you want to take? That's going to have the biggest impact on your choice. I agree that the 18-200 is probably best simply because of the wide range, and I doubt you'll need the extra reach of 75-300. Remember on the APS-C sensor, 200mm is actually 320mm, and 300mm is actually 480mm. In the air, I guess you will probably find you want wide, sweeping landscapes. The 10-20 might actually be ideal. But maybe you want to take telephoto spy satellite photos, I don't know. If the 10-20 is compact and lightweight, I would pack it with me and put the 18-200 on my camera. Just my opinion. |

I would go with the 10-20 and have the 18-200 in my pocket just in case or the other alternative is to see if you can borrow a second body..
