Default How can you tell where the traffic is coming from?

I don't know what's been going on with my Flickr account.

For a while now I've been getting 50+ views/day every couple of days. One day I had over 100 views, and I'm already over 60 for today.....

But I can't tell why. The majority seem to be coming from flickr itself, some from here, a couple "unknowns". But I can't figure out why the increase in traffic from within flickr...I haven't signed up for any groups or anything...

Is there any way to figure it out? Even the "viewed images" isn't terribly consistent.

Not that I'm terribly concerned, but if I'm "doing something right" I'd like to know what...And I might want to move stuff off of flickr...

You can click the domain for more information. For example, click "Flickr"

And it will show you were specifically those hits are coming from.

Have any of your most viewed images been on Explore recently? I always get a lot of hits when something turns up there. Have you tagged any images with something a lot of people might be searching for?

That only works with a premium flickr account.

Well I assume he has one, else he wouldn't know he was getting all those visits

People will look through Explore and click on shots they like. To see if your pictures have been on Explore, check Scout at Big Huge Labs.

If you go to your Home page on flickr and check "Recent Activity", then look for "Your Stats". If you hit "More" in the Your Stats section, it should show you the "Stats for Your Account". Click on any of the Referrers at the bottom to see where they come from. For example, clicking on "Referring domain: flickr.com" shows you what some people were looking for when they came across your shot. If you see "Searched for: insomnia" and that is one of your tags, that is how they found you.

Doesn't seem I've been on Explore.
I don't see a "more" anywhere, and when I click on "flickr" as referrer all I get is file locations... I don't get any search terms or anything...

I have a pro account.

Are any of your photos hotlinked to a flickr group or to a website? If so, this may be where it is coming from.

I have 3 photos that are hotlinked to one of my well known websites and i get an avg. 600 hits daily on it. When they click on it, the referrer shows flickr.com
