Starting salary: $17,000
Midlevel salary: $29,000
Top salary: $62,000
Hiring Outlook: 11.15 (45 was best)

#189 of 200: Photojournalist (rated lower due to stress levels)
Starting salary: $16,000
Midlevel salary: $28,000
Top salary: $60,000
Hiring Outlook: 11.25

**salaries info from Rob Haggart's Blog site "A Photo Editor". Careercast listed only the midlevel income.

Interesting.
Dunno if I could really put a price on the "salary" of a photographer. Of course a job like photojournalism or working for a studio might have a set amount but running your own biz can vary.

I noticed that a Waiter / Waitress has a higher ranking... A Sewerage Plant Operator has an even even higher ranking! Interesting survey!
