Well, I got some pretty awesome news today, That I was mentioned on the Daymen site (The guys behind Espon, Lowepro, Pelican, ect ect.) DayMen Photo Marketing - Customer Stories about a story I linked them to on my site about me switching my company over to mainly using Lowepro bags.
The original story from my site: Are we Affiliated with the makers of Lowepro? NO! I am just here to say that High Impact Imagery is now all switching over to Lowepro Bags to ensure the protection of our gear. Why is this? While on a mountain bike outing one day we were riding pretty hard through the trails, All the sudden my front wheel stopped dead in its tracks. I instinctively I turned the wheel to the right to attempt to turn off the path so I wouldn't cause a collision with the other bikers. My rim bent in half and all the sudden I was flying through the air, The first thought that flashed through my mind was the fact that I had been the designated photographer of the day, Strapped to my back was my trusty Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW. I landed straight on it, For about 5 minutes I laid there on the ground, Wind knocked out of me, I looked over at my bike and slowly realized that most of the gear in my bag was probably totalled. I unstrapped my bag and got up to walk off the crash, Not wanting to believe that I needed to replace my camera gear. One of my friends bent down to inspect the damage off my gear, He opened up the bag and called me over with a smile spread across his face, Not a single piece of my gear was even slightly damaged. Cost of Replacing my Rim = $100 Cost of Replacing my Helmet = $150 Cost of NOT Replacing thousands of dollars worth of camera gear? $75. Thanks Lowepro for making such high quality photography bags!! - Patrick McEachern High Impact Imagery - Home Now, Because of this, I would personally reccomend lowepro bags to ANYONE looking for a new bag *Please Note: I am NOT affiliated with Daymen* I am just excited, and thought I would share. Patrick McEachern High Impact Imagery - Home High Impact Imagery | Facebook Edit - Sorry, I cant seem to find a way to make my pictures display smaller. 2nd Edit - Decided just to remove them, There on both sites. A little html will sort your image....
For example - If you were trying to make this image smaller, you would use the following code... First you have your URL to the image... http://www.highimpactimagery.com/pho...vent%20173.JPG Then you need to tell the forum that you're inserting an image and that's done by opening a tag Then you specify the image Then you tell it how wide it's allowed to be width="700" Then you close the tag width="700"> and you get this... Nice light, by the way :-)
