Question What's Yours...?

One that is full of emotion. When your heart begins to race and butterflies begin to fly around in your stomach.
One that makes you begin to think or wonder.
One that makes you want to be right there, with the photographer.
One that inspires you.
One that makes you smile.

What is your definition of a good photo?

One that, when I look at it for the first time, causes a brief jump in my heart.

That's not to say that it actually makes me feel love or hate. It could strike me as "that's dramatic!" or "what beautiful colors!". Those really do give me that kind of reaction, if they're strong enough.

When a photo truly grabs my attention, for whatever reason, and makes me think "Wow!"

Kind of along the same lines as Jim...

A good photo makes me want to look at it and analyze it for a while - more than a few seconds.

One that makes you think and wonder and how they did it.

When I stop and notice that it's different.... in a good way... not different for the sake of being different.

Emotion plays little to no part in my ability to like a photo.
