Are you sure that code is yours to give away? If it is available on Scott's blog, then the right thing to do is link to the entry. If it is available only to Kelby Training subscribers, then you have no business putting it out for everyone and have likely violated the terms of your subscription.

Well, I'm guessing Scott is Scott Kelby.....anyway, it does not take a genius to google "discounts on photomatix". This was a freely distributed code on a coupon list.
I clearly stated I had no connection with whoever provided it. "Kelbytraininghdr" obviously shows who it is from....your "link" per se. If you don't want to rip someone off, I can still sell you MY license if you want that instead....

I had no problem finding the coupon using Google - 5th link listed (and just after a link to here which is number 3)
HDRsoft Coupons, Promotional Coupon Codes - Deal Locker

1. Google "20% Photomatix discount"....press enter....... 2. Click on the very first link on the very first page, it will be HDRsoft Coupon Codes - all coupons, discounts and promo codes for hdrsoft.com 3. The code will be the third one down 4. With 83% success the code has worked for some people, not others, it worked for me. OR, you can just google "Photomatix discounts" and it will still show up in a link on the first page as well. Plus, to the regular person, my mention of it here on DPS will ALSO show up on the first page when searched for "20% photomatix discount". I mean come on Jim...

Well, if it is out there, I suppose it just is, but I maintain that it shouldn't be since it is a coupon meant for subscribers to a service. I also maintain that it shouldn't be further passed around just because it is out there on a site where people contribute coupon codes from sources that aren't meant to be shared.
Also without the addition of "20%" (how would you know what percentage to use, just a lucky guess?) the code doesn't come up so easily. That said, if you can live with it, more power to you. |
