Post Acclimating the camera to cold

Hi,
I am nervous to take the camera outside. It's in the teens to 20's outside. Is there a way to acclimate the camera to the cold and how do you keep it from fogging up when you return to warmth? Missing some reat shots.

Thank you

In the cold I usually hold the camera and inside my coat, plan the shot, set up and click, its been about -15 to -20(5 to -4 Fahrenheit) Celsius the last couple weeks(5 to -4 Fahrenheit).

When I bring it inside I leave it in a camera bag that was outside with me and cold, I leave this closed tight and let warm up slowly, I also use the silicon pouches you get in packages to absorb moisture in my camera bag as well

Even better than your camera bag is to place your camera + silicon pouches into a sealed plastic bag before bringing it in. It'll warm up faster (a good camera bag is quite a good insulator too) and the silicon will not be able to draw moisture from the room, so it'll draw from the camera instead.

Great ideas, thanks. And no I am not colder than Canada so your tips should be favorable. I am off for plastic bags and silicon packets
