Default My bologna has a first name....

or in this case, my camera. Her name is Bernadette. She's a flashy little red Samsung. I haven't shot with my husband's camera enough to have picked out a name yet, but soon!

Does your camera have a name?

No, I call it by its proper name as well. A Canon Rebel XS (or 1000D, for those of you not in North America .
Never been into naming my stuff.

Call them by their names, "My little XTi" and "The 5D2".

Nope, no name. Just "my camera," "the camera," or "the (Nikon) D60."

Well, that's also a very pleasingly sounding name. Having a D90 myself, I'm considering a pet name too.

However, I don't tend to name my stuff at all. It's hard enough to give meaningful names to my computers...

Default Compensating Lens

Yes just my camera.
Although my Wife calls my EF70-300, my Compensating Lens.

I think she has lens envy. Or maybe I have small lens syndrome.

Cheers,

John W
