What I learned at Sandy's Seminar

I attended a webinar earlier this week and the speaker was Sandy Puc - she is amazing. She spoke about marketing in a down economy.

One of the things that she does is after a client places an order she will send them a digital file (that will print as a 4x6 with no issues) that has up to 5 of the prints that the client bought and a coupon. It says something like I just got my pics taken with Sandy and here are some of my favorite pictures. And the bearer gets 50% off of the session fee.

Yes, the digital file can be duplicated over and over BUT its the cheapest way to to target marketing (FREE and effective).

So, that got me thinking, I am sending out end of the year gifts to my clients (See below) and I am adding magnet strips on the back so they will keep it on their fridge, The hope is that when others come over they will see the pic and of course my name. These go out in the mail on Monday. I will send two so the hubby can have one too!

Great idea! Another one to keep in mind (if not already done so) is to make business cards for every client with their prints/cd with a few pictures of them on it. I'm sure they would give away your business card a lot faster if it had their picture on it. Good luck and I hope 2010 brings you a lot of clients!
