Default What are your photography goals for 2010?

As the New Year approaches, many are making New Years Resolutions. I don't really "do" New Years Resolutions, but I do have one goal for my photography for the next year - to complete the weekly assignment each week. I did 52 self-portraits this past year and learned a ton, so I wanted to try a weekly goal this year too.

What's your 2010 photography goals?

I want to network more. I want to meet people in the field, know who they are, and have them know who I am. I think that is my biggest photography goal.

I am kind of with Joe, it would be nice to meet more people to shoot with. I would like to get my file organization structure down a little better as well. Further more I would like to do maybe a 52 project or something, 365 is a little to hardcore.

I can't begin to tell you what a good experience it was for me to do a 52. Jump in with 2 feet and keep running. There's a DPS group over at Flickr here. I highly recommend it!

I'm with you on the 365. I just don't see how I could ever do it, and I think it's utterly amazing that there are those who complete it!

I would like to do the 365, but since I've just had my camera for a little over a month, and new at this, I think my time would be best spent learning the ins and outs of my camera, and at the same time, getting the basics down.

Goals for 2010 is for me to a: Take more photos, b: getting my composition down, and finally getting more into the post processing side of photography.

I would like to have fewer throw-aways when I shoot.

I'm just not sure if I want to do something a little more meaningful. You know something with real purpose. I am not very creative lately thou so.

My goal for 2010 is two-fold;

1. Return to Scotland .
2. Turn my portraiture hobby into a business.

In all honesty I'd settle for either one, but I hope to attain both.

I only have two goals right now but I'm sure more will come:

Learn Photoshop
Complete a 52 photo project - I don't think that a 365 would work for me this year
