Default Chroma Key pop up

I purchased this deal off of Ebay for 29 bucks. I cant tell you how cool it is. Take it with you anywhere and man, does it make it easy to replace the back ground

I would say its worth its weight in gold. But, the bad part, is trying to figure out how to fold it back up again.

Thought I might share with you all in case anyone wants to look one up for yourself

I have a 48" reflector that every time I go to put it back in teh case, its generally a fight to the finish. The green screen looks very cool. Post some pics with it.
Happy Holidays,
Mark

The instruction manual for my collapsible 32" reflector said that collapsing the reflector will take practice. I got it on my first try, so maybe I'm just lucky. Haha.

But, yeah, I don't think I would want to try tackling that large green screen.

Love working with key green backgrounds wish I had enough room in my place to have my 9 foot chroma key green backdrop setup.

I have one of those folding soft boxes for taking pictures of small objects. It says it's possible to fold it back up, they give you not instructions on how do it. I've tried tons of times and have had friends try as well. I've come to the determination that it was a lie and can't be folded back up.

Thats why I fell in love with this whole fold up Chroma backdrop thing. Just dont have room for all the stuff I have. My husband has figured out how to fold that thing up tho. Guess I'll have to bring him with me from now on. ha ha

Nice! looks a bit big and hard to get to fold up I bet.. does it have a deal on hiring assistants to wrestle them back into their bags? Haha Looks cool tho, I'll have to look into it.

Anything over 48" is a pain. You have to think of it like a bowtie and fold each side opposite of the other. That's the best way I can describe it. I can't tell you how many times I fight with foldable (reflectors, whatever) that are more than 48 inches. Imagine what I go through with my 48" x 72" -- after months with it I still fight every time I try to collapse it. I'm beginning to think that anything above 48" needs to be a fabric on a frame.

That said, I use a muslin green screen (10x12 and 10x24). Folding is a breeze.

Pop-up GREEN SCREEN chroma key photography choromakey - eBay (item 170421311785 end time Dec-24-09 05:54:33 PST)
The price is as low as ever could be expected but in the sample pics it looks like the screen is very wrinkled when fully expanded in particular the one where the woman is modelling for a shot.
Is yours wrinkly?

Fold away by twisting the panel into a figure "8" and it snaps into place. Cheers!
