Maybe there should be a "filter" for posts. If you post after 11pm (local time) the post goes into a "holding bin" until morning for more sober review.

Would have helped me a time or two!

Good idea! I try not to look at the computer when I've had a drink in case I make a wally of myself or say something wrong. Moreover, e-bay - now that's a website never to be visited after a few drinks!

This is why I never post while drunk.

That and I rarely ever get drunk any more. Besides, I have a hard enough time seeing the screen whilst sober, never mind after a few brews.

Oh phew! Thanks for reASSuring me that I am not the only one to post while drunk and regrets it in the morning! I've been keeping a low profile.

What with the Christmas festivities and parties etc in full swing I promise not to post anything embarrassing again

Went to the Science Museum in London today which was fun but it not easy when we're on a family outing and everyone's on my case saying "are you done yet taking photos" and "we'll meet you on the next floor, catch us up when your done".

No worries, I've been thrown off a forum in the past for what I thought was a witty comment after a few glasses of Shiraz but which the Admin thought was unacceptable. I think the admins here are a little less po-faced thank God!
