Finally got the images from the A T & T Short Course National Championships posted on my Photoshelter account. Shot over 2200 images during the three-day meet and edited it down to 148 that I put online to sell to various sporting magazines. Had Olympic swimmers from the United States and those Japanese who were attending colleges in the United States.
Lighting was great at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington. I primary used the 16-35mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8 and 300mm f2.8 lenses. I've added the info: Date: 12/3/09 Time: 6:00:27 PM Latitude: Longitude: Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark II Serial #: Firmware: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Macintosh Frame #: 6772 Lens (mm): 300 ISO: 1250 Aperture: 2.8 Shutter: 1/500 Exp. Nice work, Jim! My favorites are the ones you took head on and the swimmers are coming right at you.

While covering those events there are only a few places you can shoot from, Back from the starting blocks, and both sides of the pool, which was a real hassle with the coaches and swimmers trying to get poolside as well. On the other side was the TV camera on tracks. But I guess I could have shot above from the press area or fans sections.
