Default Very Important Question~HELP

I realize that there are a lot of the same types of questions throughout this community but I can't seem to find the answer. If it is posted else where please direct me to the correct thread.

As most of you know I start a blog on the blogger.com. My Mom has just informed me that she is able to right click and save my photos from that website. (Not that anyone besides my mom would want my photos..lol) I have not been embedding my copyright info into the file itself because I found that only PS users can see it. I do not do any copyright symbols on my main website because it is done for me. I read something about "Shrinkwrapping" but I'm not sure about that either. I am sort of freaking out. And more so since I've seen threads where people have found their pictures in Costco, and magazines without their permission.
I know the only safe way to keep my photos is to not post them online.
Are there any other ways to protect my photos besides registering them and make 4x7 copies of them all???

Thank you so much!
Bre

You got it in one - the only guaranteed protection is to not post them at all, but, as we're all caring and sharing types here at DPS, we love to share our shots

I think the best way to limit copying is to restrict the size of your images and to apply a very light and repetitive watermark across the whole shot. Subtle enough to allow the image to shine through, but too much effort to process out for anyone thinking of "borrowing" your shot.

you could possibly water mark them before you put them on?
Have a copy for yourself, but put a big watermark on it for your site. have it faded enough for people can still see the picture though.
That'd be my guess. =)

exactly

i only make low resolution available.. and (nowadays) only with a watermark through anything important.
