Default A DPS Google Wave for all photo Enthusiasts

Hey Guys,
How about starting a public Google Wave for DPSites. We can share pics and get real time inputs on the same. Some innovation like quickest photo editor contests can be held at ease.

All we need to do is create one and invite all DPS ites for the same. The moderators with Gmail id's can do it. Please let us know. I can create one and make it public, but only after a consensus here.

I've set up one called "DPS on Wave" and added public@a.gwave.com which should make it accessible to everyone. This is the first time I have used this feature of Wave so lets see how it works out.

Thanks! I've been reading up on Google Wave and think that this is a great idea. I'll definitely be jumping on this.

For those of us that might not be up to speed can you explain in simple terms what this is? Thanks.

Here's the little opening blurb from Google:

Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

Hi Wulf,
A Search reveals this link.
DPS Wave
It has already got a post. But I am unable to upload any pic as of now. Will test it out more ...
For Wave Experts,
Any idea on the Copy right status of documents shared in public wave?

The one I set up should come up with the search I gave (just double checked and got three results, including the one mentioned); I haven't figured out how to grab a URL for a particular wave yet.

I'm not convinced that a DPS-wide wave will work though - too many people and not enough focus. The kind of thing it would probably be more useful for is if, for example, a local group wants to organise a photowalk (where you could interactively plan your route).
