Default Thanksgiving v Christmas

First of all may I wish all our American cousins 'Happy Thanksgiving' for tomorrow.

I was wondering in the car on my way home tonight, what is most important in your calendar - Thanksgiving or Christmas?

I don't really think that either is particularly more important since both are usually a chance to see friends and family and have a relaxing enjoyable day. Giving gifts at Christmas is fun, but so is actually accomplishing cooking a good meal (though seeing someone smile from getting something they wanted edges out the satisfied smiles of being well fed )

Sure there is if you're a relocated American In fact, I'm about to start cooking my Thanksgiving food... just as soon as I remind myself how long it takes to cook a turkey lol

Christmas! (Being English it would be ) We all bundle round to my parents where my dad cooks up a monster roast goose dinner...DEEEEEEEEELISH!

Private - you can make your own mint sauce...just crush up a bunch of mint with some malt (brown) vinegar...simples!
