Flickr and Powerpoint

I've just been sent a PowerPoint slide show of the Normandy landings showing then and now pictures. It is an awesome presentation and I would like to share it.

Can PowerPoint slide shows be uploaded to Flickr for sharing?

No, you can't upload ppts to Flickr. The only video formats you can upload are:

• AVI (Proprietary codecs may not work)
• WMV
• MOV (AVID or other proprietary codecs may not work)
• MPEG (1, 2, and 4)
• 3gp

That being said, it's also a good idea to remember that you should only upload pictures that you took to Flickr (part of their community guidelines). Something like that might be subject to much more scrutiny than say, editing a photo for WWYD on here.

Thanks Nicole. It didn't occur to me that I could only upload pictures I took but now you've said it, it makes total sense.

Anyhow, now I've found it on YouTube it can be viewed from there. It's worth viewing for the simple fact to see how the modern photographer has endeavoured to position themselves in exactly the same position as the original photographer.
