Thumbs up S.F. Bay Area/NorCal?
Hi Everyone,

I joined the California photographers group but there doesn't seem to be too much going on there. Are there any others in the Bay Area or NorCal that would be interested in starting a social group? I'm thinking that we may be able to meet up for casual photo walks and other activies along with interacting online. Anyone interested? I look forward to meeting more people in the area who love photography, regardless of skill level.

I'm at SSU state, so I'm probably not far from you.

I'm part of the Flickr Bay Area strobist group and they do meet ups occasionally.

No actually, you're not far at all. I'm in Novato.

How do you like the strobist group on Flickr?

I'm in Redwood City and always up for a shoot when I'm available. I'm also a member of Bay Area Photographers on Meetup. Recently we had a studio shoot with some models from Model Mayhem website. It was awesome.

Funny that you should mention Meetup. I was looking there also but the groups seemed to be pretty specific about the type of photography so I figured I'd ask around DPS.

Cool, I think I'll see how this post goes over the next day or two and start a group if there seems to be a few more interested people who would be active.

The Bay Area one is rather inactive and it's really tough to get any groups going.
