Any Members in the Dundee Area?

Hi,

I'm heading over that way on holiday next week, staying in Fowlis. I'm looking for some good photo opertunities, the usual fare... sites, iconic landmarks, vistas etc.

Can anyone give me some ideas?

The Trossachs? Was there a couple of weeks ago hoping for autumn colours in the National park......

....shame about the weather....but then again Loch Katrine is always nice

I've done a bit of shooting around the Trossachs before, but there are still plenty of places I haven't been and I haven't made the effort to go during the magic hour. It's a bit of a drive from Dundee though. I was thinking more local. I was at Glamis Castle last time, so I think that will be a definite to get some nice shots of that.

Anybody have any other idea's/suggestions?

I thought you might be passing through that way. Dundee is a bit close to Fife for my liking

Ever been down the Borders? Peebles has lots to offer photographers (and is just doon the road for me ).

...I'm no great fan of the east coast even although I come from Dunbar! Give me hills and trees inland any day.
