You know what the saddest thing is?

As these words are used more and more, they actually DO get included into the dictionaries. So in a few years, newbie, nub, noob, all of them will eventually get new definitions and be real words.

And to look into the future, we'll all be writing like this...

U r nub for getn on me for sayin newb. Y r u such a nub?

Disgusting!

Yeah like Google made it into the dictionary. They gotta keep up with the times... I suppose if we say them enough then it's relevant? We'll just have to see how Webster decides to spell it

Actually, nub is a real word. It's nothing like "noob" though. :P

I know, it is sad. You know, if one person does something (right or wrong) for so long a time period, it eventually becomes accepted as true. Teens already talk (text) like that as part of their every day life. It's hard enough to have a intelligent conversation with some people because everyone is so dumbed down by texting an things of that sort.

Only in French! Which is fine with me because French is in my bloodline. Your post brings up another good point. Words may have different spellings due to the language used (colour/color etc.).
