Default Flickr! Pro

So I did a quick search any couldn't find anything on this subject.

Is it worth the $25? I found myself somewhat close to the bandwidth limit this past month, however, I don't know if I will actually ever go over. Are the stats worth it? and is there anything else that is substantially better with the Pro. Its not alot of money, so I may get it regardless.

A quick search turned this thread up. Hope it answers your questions.

K, well I don't know what I was doing wrong. I key word search "Flickr Pro" and nothing came up.

Thanks for the help.

Odd....same search terms I used...but then again, stranger things have happened! And, I've had trouble using the search feature at times, too. It's a bit glitchy at times, I think.

It is totally worth it!! For 25 bucks you get a HUGE amount of storage. ( I have over 2000 images on mine)
I've had my pc crash on me and Flickr was my total saving grace. I dont ever show it to anyone unless they find it surfing as I have my "other" web site
Just do it!

Flickr is probably one of the best photography related investments I've made besides my time.

There will always be that one month where you come home from a great photoshoot with tons of good images you'd like to share. Then you'll get that message pop up saying you can only share a couple of the many good ones. Then you'll be a sad panda.

That's what happened to me and I ended up getting a Pro account right then and there. It was worth it.

Well, I would say "it depends". The only reason I went with a pro account was to remove size restrictions and gain some added features (which I didn't absolutely "need").

I personally can't imagine using it as offsite storage/backup even though I do recognize the benefit of it. That would make managing/organizing a huge chore if not impossible. (maybe that's why windrider never shares hers) But then again, I have a pretty decent backup system/strategy....
Overall I'd say it's cheap and worth it, but I'm not making much use of the differences from the free account...
