Default I'd like to nominate windrider86...

...for some kind of award for her work in the Critique section. I can't believe the patience shown with what seems like every new post that doesn't follow the rules of those forums. I haven't been around here too long but I'm already saying a silent RTFM for these posts. Actually, I have been impressed with the level headed moderation here in general but I've noticed how windrider86 still takes the time for a welcome and a friendly pointer to the rules.

Since it seems like a minority of critique posters bother reading the rules perhaps something more intrusive should be put in place. Something like a pop up window reminding posters of the requirements when creating a new critique thread perhaps?

Wow, thank you so much for the compliment!!! I truly do appreciate that more than you will ever know!
It's rather easy to have patience if one remembers back in the day when we knew nothing. I was just as guilty as anyone else for not reading the rules, and yes I got scolded.lol
It's so esciting to start out on a new journey and with that new excitement people get hasty and in a hurry to share thier new found passion.
Maybe one day we'll figute out some way to get more uniform but until then we just keep pluggin away.
Now then, as I sit here with a giant black wig on and a black mask, a dagger and 50 cereal boxes pinned on me, I must run off to Halloween land and be my cereal killer self!

Yay! Windy!

Been there done that resigned from it. I know how much time you have to devote to be a good mod and how often you have to bite your tongue and post a polite slap down when you really want to tell the idiot in question to READ THE F***ING FAQ'S!"

More Power to your arm lady!

I too would like to say a big thank you as Mrs W so kindly put me straight with my first submissions. In my enthusiasm, I too, also hadn't read the rules...
