Bad form?

Hi,

I work for a company that produces slideshows and edited movies from consumers media (btw we only use licensed music - 4000+ tracks from an industry leader in Hollywood). Recently, we've been speaking with professional wedding photographers who are interested in using our services to produce slideshows, dvd proof albums, and dvd masters for there clients. These seem to be items wedding clients are requesting more and more and pro photographers are already maxed out for time.

Before going head long into developing products, we want to understand this market and the pain points pros have. Talking with experts has been great, but it is a very time consuming process and we have limited contacts. Reading through these forums has been quite illuminating and there are some real insights to learn.

We've created an online survey (with a free custom DVD) to help us better understand the current state of the wedding photography landscape. How do we go about finding people willing to take the survey? Would it be bad form to post a link here?

We want to create valuable tools that will help photographers free up time, add an additional revenue stream, and allow them to focus on their core business. We can only do this by listening and understanding from those pros actually in the trenches.

Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

I'd think you guys could come up with something that'd be mutually beneficial, perhaps by writing a bit of an article on how you intend to help photographers with their revenue stream while posting the links to the survey to help you guys out.
