I love this thread.
All these people from different backgrounds, all unique in their own way...
I think it is truly special that we all can catch a glimpse of who they are as an individual and experience their perspective of this vast world, no?

Myself; I have no formal occupation. I am a learner, an artist, a thinker.
And it was nice to meet - however indirectly the internet allows people to meet - everyone.

My first post - been on the NAPP forums for years but after lurking here for a while it seems like a good group. My name is Susan, I live in Reno, Nevada. My day job is as an aerospace engineer, photography is rapidly becoming an all-encompassing hobby. I have a bunch of Canon gear, love to shoot sports, travel, nature, just about anything except for weddings!

I'm with you, Susan ..... guess I've watched too many Bridzillas !! Unless it's family, I stay away from Weddings and Children !! Although I know I'll never make any money at it, - give me a mountain sunset any day !! Congrat's for coming out !!

PS - good choice with the gear also!!

By trade I am an aircraft mechanic, specifically Communication and Navigation equipment, but I have done a bit of everything. Currently I am a stay at home momma for a pretty cool 2 y/o. I'm hoping to get back into the Air Force in the very near future.

Ex Driving instructor ran my own school with about 15 instructors but got disillusioned with how fixed the UK test is so left

I work at the moment as a petrol forecourt guy I study Web Design and do it part-time but also graphic design and a few other things which got me back into photography I rarely have time to do everything now and my long suffering other half bless her sees the camera as keeping me in line

I think thats it's just amazing how so many people, with such varied backgrounds, from so many different countries, can find a common link that can draw them together. This is an amazing forum.
