Ha.......while all you part time photographers that have full-time jobs. I try to make a living being a photographer, which is kind of hard to do with everyone running around with dSLR's. But a few of you here got some business sense and know what your COB is. Now we have to educate the rest

Before I moved to Hickville I was the marketing director for the 5th largest developer in the country. I also did motivational speaking all over the country.
Now that I am in BFE I own and operate a U-Haul dealership and have a photography business.

Well, after a career in the Army and a second career as a government consultant, I'm a full time photographer now.

I was thinking about starting a topic like this not too long ago. I'm a Web Developer. Photography is a hobby.

I'm the new media producer for Mobil1, Gillette World Sports and Crufts (Yep, the crazy big dog show) and I'm the community manager for DPS (Which takes up more time than my "real" job but I love it 6000% more, so that's cool) and I am a music photographer for press, magazines and such and I write for Digitalrev.com and I review stuff (gadgets, mainly) Oh, and I have 4 minutes a day where I sleep! (Which I mostly use by spending my time on Twitter)

That's me...

I love this sort of thread. I think that it lets you find out a little more about everyones life away from the camera. It just adds to the feel of a big family here. As for myself, I'm a journeyman machinist/ master mechanic specializing in rotating and reciprocating machinery, mainly for the petro-chemical field. For the last few years, I have been in the steel making industry and after a 6 month lay-off, I'm now working in a brand new coke making facility (coke as in making steel).
