Default Mistaken identity

Yesterday, it was arranged for me to take photos of my friend and her kiddos at the local park at 2.30pm and as usual I got a text from Louise saying she's running late and will be with me at 3.30pm anyway it was a glorious afternoon so I whiled away the time taking pics of innocuous squirrels, ducks, swans and other wildlife then decided to have a coffee sitting outside the playground cafe.

I put my camera on the table and this chap came up to me and said "Thats a fine camera you've got there" "Are you a photographer?". I said "yeah" Then he said "I know you, I've seen your website and I thought it was you sitting there. You used to be a member of the Photography Club didn't you? I thought I'd recogised you I was like "Mmm" Then he said to me that he was a professional photographer retired and once apon a time there was only him and some other guy in the business in our town.

All the while I was like thinking "Eeek hurry up Louise and get me out of this tight spot!".

Another thing he said was "Quick tip next time you do a wedding and you see someone wearing an engagement ring, give them your card and also when you are out and about near families give them your card".

Eventually he said he had to go.

I've no idea who he thought I was! I don't even have a website! I've never been a member of a photography club. Anyway, it was nice to wallow in someone else's glory for a change!

I see that fake website I setup if your picture on the front page is doing it's just just as expected.

Seriously where do you people live? I hear all these stories about people bugging you when your out taking pictures. I never really have anyone talk to me except, "Nice day to be taking pictures".

I must look intimidating

I had an encounter like that, when someone thought I was someone else, but I was acquitted of that one.
