Default British Summer Time ends

... and I don't like it! Dark at five o'clock, I don't like it at all!

I like it. You don't have to wait so long for the "golden hour". I photographed my friends children at the park today between 3 and 4 and took some great shots bathed in a golden glow. Awsome!

Must admit I don't like it at all, and frankly don't understand why they have to do it at all. Can somebody explain? PAUL

I think it's something to do with the Scots as daylight time up there is less than it is down here in the south and consequently children were going to school/coming home in the dark or something like that. BUT, I might be wrong!

Another thing I hate about it is I now go to work when it's dark and come home when it's dark! BUT, not this week, as I'm on holiday

They tried Double Summertime (putting the clocks forward in Winter to give an extra hour of light in the evenings) a few years back but it meant that in the north of Scotland sunrise wasn't until 10am so it was abandoned.
