Default polaroid cameras!

this may seem silly but, i was going through a box of old ugly prints from years ago, and came across a whole bunch of Joycam photos i took when i was a kid.

and I WANT A POLAROID CAMERA! instant photos are so old school and always have a neat effect. however, in a semi-local camera store the other day, i heard that polaroid discontinued their film?

is there an alternative? and, any suggestions on polaroid cameras? doesn't have to be "polaroid" brand, if there's another company that makes instant film. i imagine they're pretty cheap, and readily available, but what would be a good instant camera?

i really have no idea on this.

FujiFilm makes an instant camera: Instax Minis. The prints are smaller than the old polaroids, but the same sort of concept.

Yep - The film is coming back. However why wait. There are hundered of polariod cameras available on Ebay and film isn't that hard to find yet.

A polaroid is still the best way to photography a party as far as I'm concerned.

you can still get polaroid film pretty easily. I dont think it is actually Polaroid (TM) product. The other option is buying 'expired' film - it can give some pretty awesome creative effects. But is a bit of a hit and miss system - but thats part of the fun.
