Talking Good Customer Service

I know there have been a couple of threads on this forum unhappy with Adorama. I've used Adorama for quite awhile and even when I have had a problem their customer service department has responded quickly and courteously worked with me to solve it or get me the information I needed.

I just sent this email to Helen Oster, who is in Adorama's customer service department and posts from time to time here:

"I just wanted to acknowledge someone in your customer service department who helped me with an order. I had placed the order on Monday but didn't receive the usual acknowledgment email. In addition, it sat in pending status noting it was in "Phase 1." There was nothing in the product information indicating the item was not in stock.

"Anyway, I called this morning to find out what was happening. Rachael answered the call and based on my phone number called up my account and order information before I was even able to explain the situation. So when I did she was able to give me an immediate answer. In addition, she continued to check after our conversation and called me back with a further update. That's the kind of customer service I wish all companies would offer."

I'll keep buying from Adorama given the kind of customer service I've received over and over from them.

That's great to hear! I will definitely be more eager to order from them just knowing that. Thanks for sharing

It is SO much appreciated when customers share the good experiences shopping at Adorama Camera, as well as the less rewarding ones.....

I'd like to share my recent dealings with Adorama. I contacted them because of my recent Identity Theft crisis to ask questions about thier security and how they go about protecting thier customers.
I had not one but several folks from customer service to higher ups contact me and went over thier entire process and assured me that my information was secure. Several conversations went far more in depth, which they certainly did not have to do.
Every contact I have ever made with Adorama has been a pleasant one. Altho they will never get rich off of my orders they have my loyalty.

I've bought from them a few times when something I needed...."wanted now" wasn't in stock at B&H.

Never had a problem with them.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Adorama. I don't even bother comparison shopping any more. I know I'll get a fair price and if I have a problem I'll be taken care of.

I haven't read any of the negative posts about Adorama but I do know that things happen and you can't please all of the people all of the time. In my two plus years of buying from them I've never had a problem.

This is great. People are always so much more likely to post a "negative comment" when they feel wronged.....you seldom hear about the "good". I appreciate the positive...

FWIW, I've never had anything but "positive" experiences with Adorama and B&H.

FWIW I've had nothing but good experiences with their printing service. Quick, good prices and excellent quality... I tend to get at least a handful of prints done every time I'm back in the US.
