I was just thinking. Being left-handed, one has to adopt to a right-handed world. Perhaps this is where our success comes from. Living from both sides.
Right-handers don't have to do anything. Kind of lazy if you ask me. And sooo one way! ; )

Well, going by the results so far your shopkeep has it exactly wrong (60% righties). I wonder if his shop attracts left handed patrons?

Iam right handed. I can do many tasks with my left just as good with my right hand ie filing and sawing. I use my left eye when taking photos. I shoot rifle from the left shoulder left eye and right shoulder right eye. In any sport where the ball is stuck with a bat or racket I use my left hand.

Another lefty here, although growing up in a righty world I've learned to be ambidextrous. Both my brother and grandmother were "converted" while young and taught to use their right hand all the time.

My mother tells that I'd just toss the item down and pick it back up with my left hand. LOL Lil' stubburn.
