Default My favorite Quote -

And its from someone who is NOT famous. He's a fellow photog.

Of course the camera doesn't see the scene the way I do. It captures the scene in all its washed out, midday lighting, nondescript glory. And so it is up to me to recreate the look that I saw briefly in my mind.

My favourite quote comes from my Dad and I wish I could live by it but continually fail to do so - "Hear all, see all, say nothing"

And another favourite quote comes from years back when we were printing something for a designer who didn't want to pay for colour. He described his black and white design as "seeking quality through contrast rather than colour" That has always stuck with me for some reason as I normally forget everything!

Over here it's from Corporal Jones... you'll only understand this if you watched 1970s sitcoms in the UK

@ AndCity

I first heard that in the north of England, the full version being:

Hear all, see all, say nowt*,
Eat all, sup* all, pay nowt,
And if thee ever does owt* for nowt,
Do it for thysen*

* Nowt = nothing, sup = drink owt = something, thysen = yourself (for the dialectically challenged).
