Default How did you end up on DPS?

Is there anything in particular that brought you to DPS? What were you wanting to learn? Did you learn it? Just interested.

Articles on DPS show up on Digg once in a while, so that's how I found it. An interest in photography kept me interested in coming here.

I'm pretty sure I found it a similar way. Searching for either beginner photography tips or searching for information on things like aperture. Which then led me over to the Flickr site and signing up for the newsletter which then led to the forums (since when I first found DPS there were no forums yet).

A conversation over Christmas dinner a few years back saw me start my journey into and onto dPS.

I was using StumbleUpon (basically a random website generator) and going through websites that were photography related. It brought up one of the articles on how to take better portraits. The images were beautiful and the article was really well written. I instantly bookmarked the site.

Combination of DIGG and StumbleUpon. I kept ending up back here somewhere, so I finally just said Screw it and got involved.

Exactly the same way for me. I ventured into the forums after a few visits to the blog.

I was Googling something like "DSLR for Dummies." LOL. Seriously.

I think a tutorial of some kind was what I wound up looking at, and the pop-up for the newsletter came on, so I signed up. When I started recieving the emails that's when I found out about the forum.
