Photography schools?

Hey All,

Well I am in the military and I love photography and would like to start a degree in it. Now all I can do is online since I am currently overseas. So just wondering does anybody recommend and art school? I have checked out SCAD, AIO, Brooks, Academy of Art and they are all crazy expensive and I have not found and straight forward reviews on them. Does anyone here have any info on them or are current or past students?

Also if not a Photography what other dregees would mix well with a photography degree later in life??

I've heard some good things about nyip, but I've never used them. In the meantime, train on your own with places like DPS. You can get feedback on forums and there is a ton of free info out there.

If you are looking to become a profesional photographer and want a degree other than photography, I'd recomend a business degee. So many talented photographers fail at turning pro because of a lack of business experience.
