Default People on the east coast talk funny....

... I was in Cape Cod last summer and I just can't get used to the accents.

I was at a fancy hotel and the elevator man told everyone to "Call out ya flawws!"

I blurted out, "I'm impatient with old people!"

*pause for laughter and uproarious applause*

Good night every body!

That's a New England/northern thing and not an East Coast thing. Get down to Virginia, but more so in North Carolina, and you start getting Southern accents.

Living in Florida, the accent I hear most is NY.

Only people I've met that were actually born here was a few guys I use to work with.

That's because Florida stops being southern about the time you get south of Gainsville.

LOL! That is about true now! haha! I was born and raised on a farm in Orlando. All the pastures and orange groves around my parents house are now neighborhoods and grocery stores. My parents land (and the neighbors) are all thats left that is zoned agriculture. Its crazy. Needless to say my parents have now bought 100+ acres in north Florida. I don't think it will be long before they move.
